PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) – The Cambodian people should be careful before a decision is made to get married to foreigners, a government official said on Saturday.
Mrs. Chu Bun Eng, secretary of state of the Interior Ministry, added that 500 Cambodian women have got married to foreigners in the first quarter of 2014, increasing from 400 in the same period last year.
The Korean men account for the biggest number, followed by American and other nationalities.
She added that some Cambodian women were later on divorced.
